## Title: Account Officer

About the Role

We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Account Officer at Sunrise Universal Integrated Supermarket in Lagos, Nigeria.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management accounts
Maintain all accounting records
Carry out daily reconciliation of all sales proceeds (cash or electronic payment) to ensure the correctness of all transactions
Carry out on-the-spot assessment of cashiers to ensure the accuracy of their transactions
Keep a record of all accounting transactions
Carry out weekly stock reconciliation

Academic Qualifications

HND qualification or B.Sc Degree in Accounting or related field
Minimum of 2 years working experience in accounting

Required Skills

Ability to work with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail and good record management
Proficiency with Tally or other accounting software packages
Computer proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Office
