About the Role

We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Account Officer at Sunrise Universal Integrated Supermarket in Lagos, Nigeria.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management accounts
• Maintain all accounting records
• Carry out daily reconciliation of all sales proceeds (cash or electronic payment) to ensure the correctness of all transactions
• Carry out on-the-spot assessment of cashiers to ensure the accuracy of their transactions
• Keep a record of all accounting transactions
• Carry out weekly stock reconciliation

Academic Qualifications

• HND qualification or B.Sc Degree in Accounting or related field
• Minimum of 2 years working experience in accounting

Required Skills

• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and good record management
• Proficiency with Tally or other accounting software packages
• Computer proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Office
