Account Officer - Lagos Executive Cardiovascular Centre, Lagos

A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual for this role. Position Overview: The Accounting Officer will be responsible for managing daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational policies. Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries

• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies

• Monitor budgets and assist with financial forecasting

• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory remittances

• Support internal and external audits

• Manage payroll processing in collaboration with HR

• Maintain proper documentation of financial records

• Assist in implementing financial controls and policies

Required Qualifications: & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Minimum of 2–4 years accounting experience (healthcare experience preferred)

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

• High level of integrity and attention to detail

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
