Account Officer

A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual for this role. Position Overview: The Accounting Officer will be responsible for managing daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational policies. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries - Process accounts payable and receivable transactions - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports - Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies - Monitor budgets and assist with financial forecasting - Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory remittances - Support internal and external audits - Manage payroll processing in collaboration with HR - Maintain proper documentation of financial records - Assist in implementing financial controls and policies Required Qualifications: & Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field - Minimum of 2–4 years accounting experience (healthcare experience preferred) - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations - Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel - High level of integrity and attention to detail - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Key Competencies: - Accuracy and attention to detail - Confidentiality and professionalism - Time management and organization - Strong communication skills
