## Title: Waiter/Waitress

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join Residency Hotels Limited as a Waiter/Waitress.

Greet and escort customers to their tables
Present menu and provide detailed information about portions, ingredients, and potential food allergies when asked
Prepare tables by setting up linens, serviette stands, ware, cutlery, and glasses
Inform customers about daily specials and offer menu recommendations
Up-sell additional products when appropriate
Take accurate food and drink orders using POS ordering software, order slips, or memorization
Communicate order details to kitchen staff
Serve food and drink orders
Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation, reporting any issues
Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area
Deliver bills and collect payments
Clear dirty plates, glasses, and trays to the kitchen for cleaning
Meet with supervisors or superiors to review daily specials, menu changes, and service specifications for reservations
Follow all relevant health department regulations
Provide excellent customer service to guests

Proven work experience as a Waiter or Waitress
Hands-on experience with cash register and ordering information systems (e.g., IPMS)
Basic math skills
Attentiveness and patience with customers
Excellent presentation skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
Active listening and effective communication skills
Team spirit and collaborative approach
Flexibility to work in shifts
High school diploma (food safety training is a plus)
