## Title: Traditional Sales Representative

Job Summary

The Traditional Sales Representative drives retail and wholesale growth in open markets, neighborhood shops, and local distributors. This role focuses on volume movement, route-to-market execution, and ensuring Clyne Paper products are visible, available, and preferred in traditional trade—down to the grassroots level.

Kuje, Abuja (FCT), Nigeria

Key Responsibilities

Market Development & Sales Execution

  • Sell across open markets, distributors, wholesalers, neighborhood stores, and retail outlets
  • Prospect and onboard new retail customers (market stalls, mini-marts, corner shops)
  • Map territories and maintain structured sales routes for maximum coverage
  • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales volume targets

Channel & Distributor Management

  • Build and grow relationships with market leaders, sub-distributors, and retailers
  • Ensure consistent product supply and monitor stock levels across channels
  • Negotiate credit and cash sales in line with company policy

Visibility & Activation

  • Conduct outlet visits to ensure product visibility
  • Drive product visibility through canvassing and branding in retail outlets
  • Support product activations, sampling, and market promotions

Market Research & Competitive Intelligence

  • Track stock movement, competitor pricing, activities, and promotions in the market
  • Provide actionable feedback to management on consumer trends and distributor needs

Performance Reporting & Sales Analytics

  • Maintain accurate records of sales calls, collections, and stock movements
  • Report daily sales activities and market feedback to the Supervisor

Product Mastery

  • Know the full range of Clyne Paper products and communicate value at the grassroots level
  • Educate traders and consumers on differences between Mushy, Swipe, MARAX, Clyne, and Smart Pee products

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Achievement of monthly traditional sales volume targets
  • Outlet coverage
