About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join News Central TV as a Social Media Manager in Lagos, Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive social media strategy
- Develop and manage content calendar to ensure timely publication
- Manage and oversee social media content across all channels
- Measure and analyse the success of every social media campaign using tools like Google Analytics
- Monitor, analyse, and report on the performance of digital channels and activities
- Optimise and monitor SEO and user engagement, suggesting content improvements
- Use social media marketing tools such as Buffer for campaign management
- Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing
- Collaborate with Commercial, Communications, and Product Development teams
- Manage community engagement on all social media channels
- Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to build a strong network
- Create awareness and drive engagement with digital content, increasing traffic from audiences and stakeholder groups
- Analyse customer and user data to inform strategy
- Evaluate and implement improvements to digital strategy
- Create integrated and cost-effective digital strategies
- Map out how digital assets will be optimised for business results
- Define and action digital events
- Research the latest digital tools and interactive trends
- Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
- Attend relevant events and educational conferences
- Provide constructive feedback and adhere to all rules and regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communication Science, or equivalent
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Firm grasp of emerging digital tools
- Thorough understanding of digital touch points
- Excellent interpersonal skills
