## Title: Senior HR Executive

Job Summary

The Senior HR Executive will play a strategic role in supporting the HR department with both operational and strategic HR initiatives within the oil & gas sector. This includes managing HR processes, employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, and organizational development. The ideal candidate will have strong conflict resolution skills, be highly organized, and capable of influencing and supporting management decisions at all levels.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR & Talent Management

  • Partner with management to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals
  • Provide strategic guidance on workforce planning, talent acquisition, and succession planning
  • Advise managers on HR best practices and organizational development initiatives

Talent Acquisition & Recruitment

  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding
  • Support recruitment for oil & gas-specific roles, ensuring candidates meet technical and industry requirements

Employee Relations & Conflict Resolution

  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for employees and managers on HR-related issues
  • Proactively manage and resolve employee conflicts, grievances, and disciplinary matters
  • Promote a positive work culture by addressing concerns, providing coaching, and mediating disputes

HR Administration & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate HR records, including personnel files, contracts, and leave records
  • Ensure compliance with Nigerian labor laws, company policies, and industry-specific regulations
  • Prepare HR reports, metrics, and dashboards for management review

Performance Management & Training

  • Support the implementation of performance appraisal systems and talent development programs
  • Assist managers in identifying training needs and developing career development plans
