Job Description - A restaurant manager oversees daily operations, managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and handling finances and inventory to ensure the restaurant runs smoothly and profitably. - Key duties include hiring and training staff, creating work schedules, managing budgets, and making sure all health and safety regulations are met. Responsibilities Staff and operations: - Hire, train, and supervise all restaurant staff. - Create staff schedules and manage their shifts. - Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure smooth functioning. - Lead by example and maintain a positive work environment. Customer service: - Ensure excellent customer service and handle customer complaints. - Address customer concerns and feedback. - Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction. Financial and inventory management: - Manage budgets, track expenses, and monitor revenue. - Oversee inventory levels and order supplies as needed. - Plan menus and set prices. Compliance and safety: - Ensure the restaurant complies with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations. - Maintain cleanliness and ensure staff follows food safety procedures. Marketing and growth: - Implement marketing strategies to attract customers and improve sales. - Organize special events like weddings or birthdays. - Evaluate and improve overall business and financial performance.
