## Title: Payroll Officer
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Lagos. The Payroll Officer will oversee and process payroll activities, ensuring accurate and timely disbursement of employee payments.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and manage payroll activities with accuracy and timeliness
- Handle payroll taxes and ensure compliance with local regulations
- Manage employee benefits and deductions
- Maintain comprehensive payroll records
- Prepare payroll reports and documentation
- Address payroll-related inquiries from employees
- Collaborate with the Finance department to ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations
- Support alignment of payroll practices with financial objectives
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Relevant work experience in payroll or finance operations
- Expertise in Payroll Administration, Payroll Services, and Payroll Taxes
- Proficiency in Finance to ensure compliance with financial policies and local regulations
- Strong communication skills for addressing inquiries and collaborating with internal teams
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Proficiency in payroll software and systems (advantageous)
