Job description

## Title: OFI Support Officer

Job Objective

  • Provide business and operational support to other financial institutions (OFIs) such as micro-finance banks, mortgage banks, and other licensed entities
  • Ensure seamless service delivery by managing onboarding, transaction monitoring, issue resolution, and relationship support
  • Collaborate with internal teams to maintain service standards and strengthen institutional partnerships

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line support to OFIs on operational and service-related matters
  • Assist with onboarding and integration of OFIs onto payment platforms
  • Monitor transactions and settlements, escalating discrepancies for timely resolution
  • Liaise with Technology, Operations, Risk, and Finance teams to resolve issues within SLAs
  • Maintain updated records of OFI activities, complaints, and resolutions
  • Support reconciliation, reporting, and periodic performance reviews
  • Document and track OFI feedback for process and service improvement
  • Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Banking, Economics, Business Administration, or any related field

Experience

Minimum of 2 years post NYSC

Knowledge Required

  • Good knowledge of payment systems, OFI operations, and settlement processes

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and relationship management abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
