Job Summary

A dynamic team is expanding and seeking an experienced leader to drive agile excellence. As the Lead Scrum Master & Process Optimization specialist, you will coach agile teams, drive sprint discipline, and deliver effective backlog management for strategic consulting projects. You will collaborate with business and technical leaders to maximize project velocity and ensure high-quality deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as chief Scrum Master across strategic workstreams, facilitating sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives
• Coach and mentor teams on agile frameworks, empowering self-organisation and continuous improvement
• Identify, document, and eliminate process bottlenecks to optimise project throughput and operational effectiveness
• Implement process automation tools, dashboards, and analytics to enhance transparency, velocity, and forecasting
• Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to prioritise and refine backlogs aligned to project objectives
• Establish effective practices for documentation, communication, and workflow optimisation
• Drive disciplined execution by monitoring task completion, removing obstacles, and celebrating team achievements
• Report on key agile metrics (velocity, burndown, cycle time) and propose data-driven improvements
• Promote a culture of collaboration, psychological safety, and innovation across all teams

Educational Requirements

• Degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, Information Technology, or a related field
• Professional certification required (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM))
• Postgraduate degree is an added advantage

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• At least 10 years of experience in project delivery and process management
• Minimum 3 years in a leadership role (e.g., Lead Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or Head of Agile Delivery)
• Deep certification and practice in Scrum frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, PSM II/III, CSP-SM, or SAFe SM)
