Position Overview
The Human Resources Team Lead/Supervisor will provide operational and strategic HR leadership, ensuring effective implementation of HR policies, procedures, and best practices. This role is responsible for supervising HR operations, supporting management on people-related matters, and ensuring compliance with labor laws while fostering a positive and productive work environment.
The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day HR activities including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, payroll coordination, and staff welfare. This is a proactive position requiring the ability to guide HR officers, support organizational objectives, and maintain accurate HR records.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily HR operations and activities
- Implement and enforce HR policies, procedures, and company regulations
- Manage end-to-end recruitment and selection processes
- Support onboarding, confirmation, promotion, and exit processes
- Handle employee relations issues, grievances, and disciplinary processes in line with policy
- Coordinate performance management and appraisal processes
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory regulations, and internal controls
- Support payroll processing by validating employee data and changes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR reports
- Provide HR advisory support to line managers and employees
- Assist in training, learning, and development initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 5–6 years of relevant human resources experience
- At least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead HR role
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM, HRCI)
