About the Role
ActionAid Nigeria is seeking a qualified Human Resources Intern to support the Human Resource unit. This position offers young graduates post-NYSC experience in a learning-focused environment where you will contribute meaningfully to the organization while developing your professional skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the staff digitalization process and manage the digital HR database
- Manage physical documentation and maintain organized filing systems
- Coordinate staff welfare, insurance, and wellness initiatives
- Ensure effective HR administration and employee engagement
- Support office payments as needed
Education & Qualifications
- First degree in Business Administration, Management Sciences, Social Sciences, or related field (essential)
- CIPMN membership or relevant professional institute certification (desirable)
Experience Required
- Relevant NYSC experience in related fields (essential)
- Minimum 1 year of experience, preferably in the INGO/NGO sector (essential)
- Experience with international development or NGO agencies (desirable)
- Office administration experience (desirable)
- Experience managing staff welfare (desirable)

- Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality
- Strong professional, personal integrity and ethical standards
- Excellent reporting, documentation, and record-keeping skills
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and general technology
