## Title: HR Generalist
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our hospitality team in Lagos. The ideal candidate will have strong HR generalist skills, experience managing staff in a fast-paced environment, and a solid understanding of payroll administration, overtime calculations, and performance management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes
- Support daily HR operations including attendance, leave, and disciplinary management
- Accurately calculate overtime, shift allowances, and other payroll-related components
- Administer payroll processes and ensure timely salary payments
- Maintain updated employee records and HR documentation
- Handle employee relations and support staff welfare initiatives
- Implement and support performance management processes, including appraisals and staff development
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal HR policies
- Prepare HR reports for management as required
Requirements
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2–3 years of HR experience, preferably in the hospitality sector
- Proficiency in payroll administration, overtime calculation, and shift rosters
- Experience in performance management and HR reporting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Good knowledge of Nigerian labor laws
- ACIPM certification (an added advantage)
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: N250,000–N300,000 (Net) per month
