## Title: Human Resource Manager
Role Summary
The Human Resource Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day HR operations, ensuring effective implementation of HR policies, and providing guidance on people management practices. This role focuses on recruitment, employee relations, training, performance management, and compliance while supporting the organization's overall strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment and selection process
- Oversee employee onboarding and orientation programs
- Partner with managers to forecast staffing needs
Performance & Development
- Implement and monitor performance management systems
- Identify training needs and coordinate staff learning and development programs
- Support career growth and succession planning initiatives
Employee Relations
- Promote a positive work environment and strong employee engagement
- Handle grievances, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions in line with policy
- Act as a trusted advisor on HR issues for both staff and management
HR Policy & Compliance
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies and procedures
- Maintain compliance with Nigerian labour laws, health & safety regulations, and company policies
- Keep HR records and documentation accurate and up to date
HR Operations & Reporting
- Manage HR databases, payroll support, and HRIS systems
- Generate HR reports and metrics to inform management decisions
- Support organizational projects such as change management and employee engagement surveys
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 10-15 years of relevant HR experience in a structured organization
- Professional HR certification (CIPM, SHRM, CIHRSM, CIPD) preferred
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices
- Experience with HR software/HRIS systems
