## Title: Human Resources Manager
About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Human Resources Manager to join our expanding team at Bemil Nigeria Limited in Lagos. You will play a strategic role in developing and implementing HR initiatives that align with our company's goals while leading our HR team to excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with company goals
- Lead the HR team in designing, planning, and executing HR programs and initiatives
- Manage the complete recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and candidate selection
- Develop and maintain effective recruitment and onboarding strategies to attract top talent
- Oversee the development of job descriptions and job specifications
- Provide guidance on employee relations issues and mediate conflicts as needed
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze data to improve retention and engagement
Compliance and Policy Management
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures as needed
- Manage monthly payroll administration in alignment with employment laws, accounting for attendance, punctuality, and absenteeism
Performance and Development
- Implement performance appraisal systems, monitor reviews, and provide constructive feedback
- Develop and lead performance improvement plans as necessary
- Identify training needs and plan, coordinate, and deliver training programs
- Encourage continuous learning and professional development across all levels
- Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team, providing coaching and feedback
Compensation and Benefits
- Administer compensation and benefits programs
- Make recommendations for program enhancements
- Ensure salary structures are competitive and aligned with industry standards
Analytics and Reporting
- Utilize HR analytics to provide insights and support data-driven decision-making
- Prepare regular reports on HR metrics and trends for senior management
Workplace Culture
- Promote a positive workplace culture and oversee employee engagement programs
- Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee morale and satisfaction
- Ensure effective communication and teamwork within the organization
