Job Summary
We are seeking a high-performing HR Generalist to join our dynamic FMCG team in Lagos. This is a key support role responsible for managing employee lifecycle activities, ensuring compliance with Nigerian labor laws, and overseeing daily administrative operations. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will balance HR and administrative duties within a small to mid-sized team. This role is vital for fostering a motivated workforce, streamlining office processes, and driving growth across our e-commerce, warehousing, and digital marketing sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources Management
- Conduct recruitment initiatives, talent hunts, and talent retention strategies
- Lead end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle processes
- Maintain employee records and ensure HR policy compliance
- Handle employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary processes professionally
- Support performance management and training initiatives
- Collaborate with management to drive employee engagement and retention
- Ensure compliance with HR policies and Nigerian labor regulations, including the Labour Act, National Industrial Court guidelines, and industry-specific standards for FMCG
Administrative Operations
- Oversee office management, including procurement of supplies and maintenance of office equipment
- Coordinate with vendors for services such as IT support, cleaning, and security
- Manage warehouse administrative tasks, including inventory tracking support, logistics coordination, and documentation for shipments in line with Nigerian Customs and Excise regulations
Digital and Operations Support
- Support e-commerce and social media operations by assisting with administrative aspects, such as coordinating content schedules and managing digital asset files
- Ensure data privacy compliance under Nigeria's Data Protection Regulation (NDPR)
