## Title: Hotel Sales & Marketing Officer
About the Role
A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual to handle all aspects of a busy hotel sales & marketing operation in Lagos, Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and participate in site visits, completing all follow-up actions and documentation
- Sell, support, and advise on all aspects of events
- Coordinate, promote, and drive growth of the property's attractions
- Increase brand awareness across all mediums
- Create lists of potential clients and conduct surveys to identify guests actively seeking hotel services
- Contact guests via calls or arranged meetings to discover their needs and requirements
- Prepare and present sales proposals to potential clients, highlighting the best features and qualities of the hotel
- Provide guests with a list of available services, pricing information, and offer discounts when appropriate
- Assist clients in selecting the most appropriate services that best meet their specifications and needs
- Oversee the booking and reservation of space in the hotel to ensure availability and proper arrangement
- Collaborate with staff members to ensure clients have a positive experience
- Monitor guest service quality to ensure customers are attended to appropriately
- Conduct price negotiations with guests on behalf of hotel management to reach favorable agreements for both parties
- Maintain contact with clients to obtain feedback and discuss opportunities for future business deals
- Set annual budgets and implement strategies to achieve set targets
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Social Management, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, or relevant customer-facing roles
- Strong digital skills with relevant qualification
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Confident communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated with strong drive and initiative
