## Title: Head of Business Development
Role Overview
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Lagos, Nigeria. We are seeking a dynamic Head of Business Development to lead our business growth initiatives and drive revenue expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and drive business development strategies to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities
- Manage client relationships and ensure achievement of sales and revenue targets
- Design and implement comprehensive business plans aligned with organizational objectives
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making
- Lead and develop the business development team to enhance overall business performance
- Monitor key performance indicators and report on business development metrics
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Proven experience in Business Development, Business Planning, and Account Management
- Leadership experience in a microfinance bank (MFB)
- Demonstrated expertise in Sales and client relationship management
- Strong analytical skills with ability to understand market trends and drive strategic decisions
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation abilities
- Consistent track record of meeting and exceeding business goals and objectives
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in the microfinance or financial services industry
