## Title: Biomedical Engineer

This position offers a great opportunity for career growth in biomedical equipment management and calibration services.

Perform installation, calibration, servicing, repair and maintenance of a wide range of laboratory and biomedical equipment including pipettes, centrifuges, incubators, refrigerators, freezers, autoclaves, water distillers, weighing balances, thermomixers, vortex mixers, and slide warmers
Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for processes
Prepare and issue calibration certificates in compliance with ISO 17025 standards
Meticulously document all service activities, equipment functionality status, and maintenance reports for client records
Implement and manage a system to schedule and track all future technical services
Train end users on the safe, correct, and efficient operation of biomedical equipment
Instruct end users on routine preventative maintenance procedures to enhance equipment longevity and reliability
Manage the logistics of spare parts, including inventory tracking for all incoming and outgoing components
Ensure all parts meet industry standards and are delivered in perfect condition

Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Laboratory Science (with demonstrable engineering skills), or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in calibrating and maintaining laboratory equipment
Proven knowledge and practical experience applying ISO 17025 standards
Availability to travel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
