## Title: Administrative Officer – Facility Management
About the Role
Petrogap Oil and Gas Limited is seeking a qualified Administrative Officer for our Lagos office. This position involves overseeing facility management, procurement, budget administration, and team supervision.
Compensation
Salary range: 300,000 – 400,000 NGN net
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage the annual departmental budget
- Procure office supplies and consumables at competitive prices while maintaining consumption records and adhering to budget guidelines
- Design and implement office policies, establishing standards and procedures
- Develop and review vendor selection criteria; maintain and expand the vendor/supplier list
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers to negotiate quality, discounts, and competitive pricing
- Conduct research on process improvement methods to enhance efficiency and minimize expenditure
- Process and arrange timely payment of office utilities and domestic bills (DSTV, Internet, phone, waste disposal, electricity, diesel, fuel, etc.) and manage subscription updates and computer upgrades
- Manage and maintain plant and machinery, including power generating sets on the premises
- Supervise, maintain, and manage the general outlook, equipment, and company assets; coordinate with maintenance personnel
- Supervise and monitor support staff and customer service teams
- Conduct performance appraisals for support staff
- Monitor, instruct, and appraise security guards on premises security
- Design an easily retrievable filing system
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) in any relevant discipline
- 3–5 years of professional experience in facility management, procurement, and administration
- Relevant professional certification in facility management or related field
