Job description
An established company is recruiting for the following position.
- This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional who understands financial controls, payment processes, and compliance and can execute independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage petty cash, vouchers, and business-related payments
- Execute payment processes via bank platforms and ensure proper documentation
- Handle invoicing, agent payments, and expense postings
- Maintain accurate records on QuickBooks / Sage and support reconciliations
- Manage PAYE and pension remittances and related filings
- Support financial reporting and bank correspondence
Requirements
- HND/BSc in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- 1–3 years’ experience in a core accounting role
- Strong understanding of payment processes, reconciliations, and financial records
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks/Sage preferred)
- High attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and professional discipline
