Technical Drawing Teacher

An established company is recruiting for the following position. Role Description - This is a full-time, on-site role for a Technical Drawing Teacher located at the Ibadan campus of Lead British International School. - The selected candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons in Technical Drawing, assessing students' progress, preparing lesson materials, and fostering critical thinking and creativity in students. - The role also involves maintaining a positive learning environment, mentoring students, and collaborating with colleagues to meet curriculum standards and school objectives. Required Qualifications: - Proficiency in Technical Drawing concepts, drafting techniques, and the use of relevant software and tools such as AutoCAD or other CAD applications. - Strong teaching, communication, and classroom management skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students effectively. - Capacity for planning lessons, developing teaching materials, and assessing students’ performance while meeting curriculum objectives. - Experience with innovative teaching methods to foster critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving among students in technical subjects. - Bachelor’s degree in Technical Drawing, Engineering, Architecture, or related fields, with a teaching certification being advantageous. - Previous teaching experience, especially in a school following the English National Curriculum, is highly desirable.
