Our client, a Tier 1 Microfinance Bank, is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Team Lead, E-Business to drive profitability, innovation, and growth across its digital and electronic banking channels.
This role is ideal for a digital banking professional who understands e-channels as profit centers and can balance strategy, execution, and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive profitability of the bank’s e-business by achieving budget and revenue targets
- Manage and oversee e-business projects within budget and agreed timelines
- Develop operating manuals and procedures for e-products and digital channels
- Grow the bank’s market share by increasing active users of e-banking solutions
- Manage all self-service channels (websites, apps, software platforms) as distinct business units
- Lead electronic promotions, digital campaigns, and product launches
- Supervise card services and mobile money operations
- Ensure timely resolution of customer disputes on e-channel transactions (TAT compliance)
- Oversee reconciliation and settlement of e-transactions and third-party fees
- Provide user support for core banking and alternative delivery channels
- Strengthen system security and manage relationships with third-party service providers
Requirements:
- HND / BSc in Finance or a related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in e-commerce or e-banking within a banking environment
- Strong expertise in channel management and e-banking operations
- Sound business acumen, product development, and revenue optimization skills
- Ability to multitask, meet tight deadlines, and deliver under pressure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong strategy development and execution capability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
