## Title: Senior Information Technology and Business Intelligence Officer

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join a health insurance agency in a senior IT and Business Intelligence leadership position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate IT personnel tasks to ensure servers are running continuously and that the latest security updates are deployed
  • Ensure all network-related and security policies are implemented and followed according to ICT and IS policy documents
  • Manage and control access to all database systems within the organization, ensuring only authorized users can access internal and external/third-party databases
  • Ensure regular backups of all databases are performed
  • Monitor network bandwidth and plan and implement optimal solutions for efficient usage
  • Manage and coordinate IT personnel to ensure all user support tickets are resolved within stipulated SLA timeframes
  • Develop and maintain manuals for standardization of procedures and data quality control
  • Ensure all user manuals, procedures, and policies are current and readily available to users
  • Manage third-party vendors and service providers, ensuring compliance with agreed SLAs
  • Manage data governance and maximize data quality
  • Conduct business intelligence analysis using organizational data
  • Establish business performance metrics
  • Maintain data security and privacy standards
  • Present monthly reports on IP address activity logs, user trends, feature usage, and related analytics

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum of eight years of professional experience, with at least five years in Information Technology Management
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., MCSE, MS SQL Server, Oracle DB)
  • Experience in system development, database design, development, maintenance, and security (essential)
  • Membership in the Computer Society of Nigeria or other relevant professional body (advantageous)
  • Project management experience (advantageous)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
