Senior Accountant

POSITION SUMMARY The Senior Accountant is responsible for supervising the general day-to-day operations of the accounting department and ensure accurate recording as per generally accepted accounting bodies and company policy, as well as implementing efficient internal controls TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Participate in various monthly financial reports. - Oversee accounting daily operations. - Preparing receivables reports for sales and aftersales departments. - Monitor the closing of pending job cards and waybills. - Verifying supporting documents for bank payments. - Monitoring and auditing daily cash expenditures. - Authorizing receipt vouchers, debit and credit notes, bank payments and general accounting entries. - Assisting, preparing, and monitoring monthly budget. - Participate in audit and reconciliations when necessary. - Monitor and evaluate subordinates' performance, Training of new employees, Effective Team Leading. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (ICAN certification is a plus). - 6+ years of experience in accounting or financial management roles. - Knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws. - Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
