Self-loader Driver

We are looking for a qualified candidate to fill this position. Position Overview: - The Self Loader Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a self-loading truck, to load, transport, and offload heavy materials, equipment, and machinery. - The role requires adherence to safety regulations, proper equipment handling, and timely delivery to designated locations. Key Responsibilities: - Operate self-loader truck (HIAB) to lift, load, transport, and offload materials safely - Conduct daily vehicle and crane inspections before and after operations - Secure loads properly to prevent damage or accidents during transit - Ensure compliance with traffic laws, company policies, and HSE standards - Coordinate with site supervisors during lifting operations - Maintain accurate delivery logs and job documentation - Report mechanical faults, safety concerns, or incidents promptly - Perform basic vehicle maintenance and keep the truck clean and serviceable - Follow lifting plans and ensure safe working load limits are not exceeded. Requirements: & Qualifications - Valid driver’s license appropriate for heavy-duty vehicles - Certification or training in self-loader/lorry crane operations (where applicable) - Minimum of 5 years relevant driving self-loader and operation experience - Good knowledge of road safety regulations and lifting procedures - Ability to read and understand lifting plans and safety instructions - Physically fit and safety-conscious - Good communication and teamwork skills. Working Conditions: - Outdoor and site-based work environment - May require long hours, night driving, or work in remote locations.
