Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.
- Ensure compliance with all local and international safety regulations and standards.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports.
- Organize safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs.
- Monitor contractor and subcontractor compliance with safety requirements.
- Maintain safety documentation, records, and reports.
- Advise management on safety improvements and risk mitigation strategies.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in construction safety management.
- Relevant professional certifications such as NIOSH, OSHA, or equivalent.
- Proven experience in developing safety policies and conducting audits.
- Strong knowledge of safety laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- High level of attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
