Personnel Manager (Plastic Industry) - Sango Ota at Sungroupe Nigeria Limited

About the Role

A dynamic team is expanding and looking for the right talent to join as Personnel Manager in the plastic manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the entire recruitment process, including creating job listings, interviewing candidates, and overseeing on-boarding and new hire paperwork
• Act as a mediator and point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and other issues, bridging the gap between employees and management
• Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and implement training and development programs to improve employee skills and productivity
• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the company's overall business objectives
• Ensure all HR activities comply with labor laws and company policies, with particular emphasis on health and safety compliance, safety protocols, and risk assessments in the manufacturing environment
• Oversee the payroll process and assist employees with benefits administration, time off requests, and other HR-related matters

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• Previous experience in HR or personnel management, with specific knowledge of plastics manufacturing industry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR management software
• Certifications in production management or related areas (preferred)

Compensation

₦350,000 - ₦500,000 annually
