An established company is recruiting for the following position. Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Officer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will manage the full spectrum of HR functions and play a crucial role in building and maintaining our organizational culture of excellence. Notes: There are two branches out of which you can work out of: Island and Mainland Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate full-cycle recruitment processes, from job posting to onboarding - Manage employee relations and maintain personnel records with strict confidentiality - Administer payroll and benefits in collaboration with the finance department - Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with organizational goals - Coordinate performance management processes and professional development initiatives - Handle employee grievances and disciplinary procedures with sensitivity and fairness - Organize and facilitate staff engagement activities and team-building initiatives - Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations - Support organizational development and change management initiatives - Prepare HR reports and analytics for management decision-making Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field - Minimum of 2 years' experience in a human resources role, preferably in healthcare - Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices - Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills - Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion - Strong organizational and time management skills - Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems - Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPM) is a plus Desired Attributes - Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Adaptability and problem-solving mindset - Compassionate approach to employee concerns - Commitment to continuous improvement What We Offer - Competitive salary and benefits package - Professional development opportunities - A collaborative and supportive work environment - Opportunity to contribute to meaningful healthcare outcomes - Career growth in a respected healthcare institution
