## Title: Payroll Officer

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Lagos. The Payroll Officer will oversee and process payroll activities, ensuring accurate and timely disbursement of employee payments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and manage payroll activities with accuracy and timeliness
  • Handle payroll taxes and ensure compliance with local regulations
  • Manage employee benefits and deductions
  • Maintain comprehensive payroll records
  • Prepare payroll reports and documentation
  • Address payroll-related inquiries from employees
  • Collaborate with the Finance department to ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations
  • Support alignment of payroll practices with financial objectives

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Relevant work experience in payroll or finance operations
  • Expertise in Payroll Administration, Payroll Services, and Payroll Taxes
  • Proficiency in Finance to ensure compliance with financial policies and local regulations
  • Strong communication skills for addressing inquiries and collaborating with internal teams
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Proficiency in payroll software and systems (advantageous)
