Monitoring And Evaluation (M&E) Officer at Young Prodigy Humanitarian Organization

Position Summary

We are expanding our dynamic team and seeking a qualified Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a robust monitoring and evaluation system to track project progress and ensure quality reporting. In this role, you will support data collection, analysis, reporting, and learning processes across project sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project-specific M&E plans, tools, and indicators
• Support routine data collection and ensure data quality and accuracy
• Conduct field monitoring visits to assess project performance
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual progress reports
• Build the capacity of field staff on data collection and reporting
• Collaborate with program teams to document lessons learned and success stories

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Public Health, Development Studies, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in M&E roles within NGO or humanitarian settings
• Strong knowledge of data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Kobo, or DHIS2)
• Excellent reporting and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
