Machine Operator at Human Capital Partners (HCP)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Machine Operator to join their operations in Port Harcourt. The role involves machining, fabricating, and refurbishing tools and equipment in line with API specifications and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC and manual lathes, drilling, milling, and grinding machines
• Fabricate and refurbish tools and components to meet client specifications
• Collect connection gauges, gauging procedures, specification notes, and inspection reports from QAQC, checking for damages and reporting issues
• Ensure accurate machine setup, tooling, and adjustments
• Adhere to all quality, safety, and API standards
• Support efficient workshop operations with minimal supervision

Requirements

• National Diploma (ND) in Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in machining operations
• Proven technical competency in machining techniques
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Strong task prioritization and time management skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and with minimal supervision
