Position Overview:
- The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring the movement of goods from suppliers to customers.
- This role ensures timely, cost-effective, and efficient transportation, storage, and delivery while maintaining accurate records and strong communication with internal teams, vendors, and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations from origin to final destination
- Schedule and manage shipments, deliveries, and transportation routes
- Communicate with suppliers, transporters, warehouses, and customers
- Prepare and maintain logistics documentation (invoices, delivery notes, waybills, customs papers, etc.)
- Track shipments and resolve delays, damages, or delivery issues
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate stock movement
- Negotiate with transport providers to achieve cost-effective solutions
- Generate reports on logistics performance, costs, and delivery timelines
- Support continuous improvement of logistics processes.
Required Qualifications:
& Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or similar role
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and logistics software
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
