Overview
An established consulting firm is seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Lead, Human Resources to head their HR Advisory and Learning & Development practice.
This role combines strategic HR consulting, client advisory, and business development with hands-on design and facilitation of learning programs. The ideal candidate is a seasoned HR leader passionate about talent development, with proven consulting experience and the ability to travel across Nigeria and Africa to deliver impactful solutions.
Key Responsibilities
HR Advisory & Strategy
- Lead HR transformation projects for clients, including organizational design, performance management, compensation strategy, and workforce planning
- Serve as a trusted advisor to CEOs and leadership teams on HR best practices and strategic people issues
- Drive HR consulting engagements that deliver measurable client outcomes
Learning & Development
- Design, deliver, and facilitate leadership development, soft skills, and capacity-building programs for client organizations
- Customize training content to client needs, ensuring relevance and business impact
- Oversee the development of e-learning modules, workshops, and blended learning solutions
- Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve learning delivery
Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Own and achieve revenue targets for HR advisory and L&D services
- Identify and secure new consulting and training mandates across Nigeria and Africa
- Develop proposals, pitch to clients, and represent the firm at HR and L&D forums
- Build and manage strong relationships with client organizations for repeat business
Regional Travel & Client Delivery
- Travel locally within Nigeria and across Africa to deliver consulting projects and learning interventions
- Facilitate leadership retreats and corporate training sessions
