IT Senior Support Engineer

Location: Gujeni, Kaduna Position Overview: - The IT Senior Support Engineer provides advanced technical support for IT infrastructure, systems, and end users. - The role involves troubleshooting complex issues, ensuring system reliability, and leading IT support activities in line with organizational policies and best practices. Key Responsibilities: - Provide third-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues - Install, configure, and maintain servers, desktops, and enterprise applications - Manage and support Active Directory, Microsoft 365, email, and user access - Monitor and maintain LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and basic firewall systems - Lead troubleshooting of critical incidents and root-cause analysis - Supervise and mentor junior IT support staff - Coordinate with vendors and service providers for IT solutions - Maintain system documentation, asset records, and support reports - Ensure compliance with IT security, backup, and disaster recovery policies Required Qualifications: & Skills - Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Computer Science, IT, or related field - 4 – 6 years of proven experience in IT support or infrastructure roles - Strong knowledge of Windows Server, networking, and IT security basics - Experience with virtualization, backups, and system monitoring tools - Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills - Ability to work under pressure and support business-critical systems
