- PPS is seeking a motivated and trainable IT Support Intern to assist the IT Department with administrative duties, basic technical support, and hands-on learning in IT operations.
- Assist with organizing digital and physical files, scanning documents, and photocopying.
- Support scheduling of IT-related meetings and activities.
- Assist in processing equipment requests, sourcing vendors, and tracking deliveries.
- Receive and distribute IT equipment across various centers as needed.
- Perform clerical and administrative tasks to support the IT Team.
- Input and update information in IT databases and logs.
- Assist with setting up computers, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
- Support basic hardware setup and cleaning of IT equipment.
- Conduct routine checks on CCTV systems, attendance scanners, walkie-talkies, and other IT devices.
- Assist with daily website downtime checks and help prepare monthly performance reports.
- Help install and update software and operating systems under guidance.
- Troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues and escalate when necessary.
- Assist in testing web and mobile applications.
- Identify and report bugs, glitches, and inconsistencies.
- Document issues clearly in testing logs.
- Help maintain and update testing records.
- Log all IT-related queries, incidents, and resolutions.
- Assist in creating and maintaining reports using Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel.
- Help maintain an up-to-date inventory of IT equipment (computers, keyboards, routers, etc.).
- Support any other IT-related tasks assigned by the supervisor.
- Minimum of a Diploma or currently pursuing a degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- Basic knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
