## Title: Humanitarian Youth Inspirator
About the Role
We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Humanitarian Youth Inspirator. The post holder will be responsible for enhancing the capacities of partners, Activistas, and youth groups in the implementation of Youth in Crisis engagements, as well as supporting the implementation of SPA II project actions.
Key Responsibilities
- Enhance capacities of partners, Activistas, and youth groups
- Implement Youth in Crisis engagement initiatives
- Support SPA II project actions and activities
- Develop and implement effective campaigns with youth groups
- Provide advocacy and mobilization support using digital platforms and mediums
- Coordinate training sessions and meetings
- Work with diversified groups in rural and semi-urban areas
Required Education and Qualifications
- First degree in Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences, or related field
Required Experience
- Minimum two (2) years post-NYSC experience, with at least one (1) year in youth-related programmes within the humanitarian/development sector
- Demonstrated experience working with youth and youth groups
- Proven experience developing effective campaigns
- Experience working with diversified groups in rural and semi-urban areas
- Experience in advocacy and mobilization using digital platforms and mediums
Required Skills and Abilities
- Strong report writing and research skills
- Ability to provide capacity building and support to people with diverse backgrounds and varying levels of digital expertise
- Excellent analytical and negotiating skills
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Strong numerical and multitasking abilities
- Excellent planning and prioritization skills
- Proven interpersonal skills
- Experience coordinating training and meetings
- Passion and commitment to supporting young people and youth movements
