Human Resources Officer at United Nigeria Airlines

Job Summary

United Nigeria Airlines, a leading airline in the Nigerian aviation sector with multiple locations across Nigeria, is seeking an experienced HR professional with a background in the airline industry. In this role, you will provide vital administrative support to the HR department and serve as the operational backbone of the HR unit, ensuring that day-to-day functions run smoothly by executing core responsibilities across the entire employee lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Support recruitment, onboarding, and employee documentation
• Support HR strategy and daily HR operations
• Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures
• Support employee relations, including conflict resolution and performance management
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws and HR internal processes
• Assist in policy reviews and implementation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field
• 2–3 years of experience in an HR role
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR-related software
