## Title: Human Resources Manager

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard new staff collaboratively across the organization
  • Develop and implement frameworks for constructive and timely performance evaluations
  • Handle employee discipline and termination in accordance with company policy
  • Collaborate on offboarding processes for departing employees
  • Work with senior leadership to align staffing, recruiting, and retention strategies with organizational goals
  • Plan, lead, develop, coordinate, and implement HR policies, processes, training initiatives, and surveys to support organizational compliance and strategic needs
  • Administer and oversee human resource programs including compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, morale, occupational health and safety, and training and development
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, and other workplace issues
  • Identify staffing and recruiting needs; develop and execute best practices for hiring and talent management
  • Support development, engagement, motivation, and retention of current staff
  • Foster and nurture a positive working environment
  • Monitor research and analysis of organizational trends in the nonprofit sector
  • Collaborate with organizational leaders and advisors to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, and best practices
  • Review and modify policies and practices to maintain compliance
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; communicate policy and practice changes to the organization
