## Title: Human Resources Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Human Resources Manager to join our expanding team at Bemil Nigeria Limited in Lagos. You will play a strategic role in developing and implementing HR initiatives that align with our company's goals while leading our HR team to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with company goals
  • Lead the HR team in designing, planning, and executing HR programs and initiatives
  • Manage the complete recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and candidate selection
  • Develop and maintain effective recruitment and onboarding strategies to attract top talent
  • Oversee the development of job descriptions and job specifications
  • Provide guidance on employee relations issues and mediate conflicts as needed
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze data to improve retention and engagement

Compliance and Policy Management

  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures as needed
  • Manage monthly payroll administration in alignment with employment laws, accounting for attendance, punctuality, and absenteeism

Performance and Development

  • Implement performance appraisal systems, monitor reviews, and provide constructive feedback
  • Develop and lead performance improvement plans as necessary
  • Identify training needs and plan, coordinate, and deliver training programs
  • Encourage continuous learning and professional development across all levels
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team, providing coaching and feedback

Compensation and Benefits

  • Administer compensation and benefits programs
  • Make recommendations for program enhancements
  • Ensure salary structures are competitive and aligned with industry standards

Analytics and Reporting

  • Utilize HR analytics to provide insights and support data-driven decision-making
  • Prepare regular reports on HR metrics and trends for senior management

Workplace Culture

  • Promote a positive workplace culture and oversee employee engagement programs
  • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee morale and satisfaction
  • Ensure effective communication and teamwork within the organization
