## Title: HR Officer - Performance Management Specialist

Position Overview

A dynamic team is expanding and seeking a talented Performance Management Specialist to design, implement, and continuously improve a robust, data-driven performance management system. The role focuses on setting measurable targets, developing scorecards, tracking performance outcomes, and ensuring alignment between individual, departmental, and organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Performance Management Framework

  • Design and manage end-to-end performance management systems and cycles
  • Develop SMART KPIs, OKRs, and balanced scorecards across roles and departments
  • Translate organizational strategy into measurable staff performance targets
  • Establish performance measurement standards and evaluation criteria

Target Setting & Monitoring

  • Work with leadership and line managers to set annual and periodic performance targets
  • Monitor performance progress and provide data-driven insights
  • Maintain performance dashboards, scorecards, and analytics
  • Identify performance gaps and recommend corrective actions

Appraisal & Review Process

  • Coordinate mid-year and annual performance reviews
  • Ensure objective, consistent, and documented appraisal outcomes
  • Train managers and employees on performance management tools and methodologies
  • Support performance-linked rewards, promotions, and improvement plans

Continuous Improvement

  • Review and refine performance tools, metrics, and processes
  • Benchmark performance practices against industry standards
  • Provide management with analytical reports on productivity and performance trends

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Performance Management Specialist
  • Formal training and certifications in Performance Management
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and data interpretation skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and HRIS systems
