## Title: HR Officer

About the Role

Uniterm Nigeria Limited is seeking a qualified HR Officer to provide timely and accurate support across recruitment, onboarding, and general HR functions. This position plays a key role in supporting our people operations and ensuring compliance with company policies and labor regulations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Coordinate recruitment and selection processes, invite candidates for interviews, and ensure smooth onboarding for new hires
  • Issue and manage all required documentation including training qualifications, biodata, HMO, guarantor forms, confidentiality agreements, pension forms, and upload records to the HR software
  • Address employee grievances and provide guidance on HR-related matters while ensuring fair application of company policies
  • Implement performance management processes, including goal setting and performance reviews
  • Develop and deliver employee training programs to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Manage benefit programs and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
  • Manage hotel accommodations and reservations for staff and partners/clients where applicable
  • Manage statutory matters including pension, NSITF, and ITF contributions and ensure timely remittances
  • Coordinate office meetings and refreshments while ensuring staff welfare
  • Facilitate internal communications including memos, correspondences, and presentations as needed
  • Monitor and ensure proper staff attendance
  • Raise internal requests as applicable
  • Provide administrative support as required
  • Submit weekly reports to supervisor
  • Perform any additional duties assigned by supervisor

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (B.Sc./BA) in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field from a reputable institution
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in HR or a relevant role
  • Understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, and Communications

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA/MSc degree
  • CIPM (Chartered Institute of Personnel Management) membership
