## Title: HR and Communications Assistant (NYSC)

About the Role

Wildfire Business Solutions Ltd is seeking a smart, proactive, and creative HR/Comms Assistant (NYSC) to join our growing team. This role is designed for a corps member eager to gain hands-on experience in Human Resources and Corporate Communications.

You will work directly with the HR/Comms Executive, supporting day-to-day HR operations, internal communication, and employer branding initiatives — while learning how people, culture, and communication drive business impact.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources Support

  • Shadow the HR/Comms Executive to learn the end-to-end HR process — from hiring and onboarding to team engagement and performance support
  • Assist in drafting and posting job descriptions, screening applicants, and coordinating interview schedules
  • Support onboarding activities and maintain employee records
  • Help organize team-building activities, staff events, and internal communication initiatives
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with HR policies and company guidelines

Communications & Branding

  • Support the development of internal and external communication materials, including newsletters, announcements, and reports
  • Assist in managing the executive's personal brand, helping to craft engaging content and strategies for platforms like LinkedIn
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistent messaging and brand tone across all platforms
  • Contribute ideas and content for the company's blog, website, and social media

Content & Creative Tasks

  • Draft and proofread content such as press releases, blog posts, and newsletters
  • Brainstorm and execute creative communication strategies to improve engagement across internal and external audiences

Qualifications

  • Must be a current NYSC corps member (preferably serving in Lagos)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
