## Title: Head of Human Resources
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Head of Human Resources to join our organization. You will serve as a strategic partner to executive management on people, structure, and performance matters, driving HR excellence across the company.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership
- Develop and implement HR strategies that support business growth and operational efficiency
- Serve as a strategic partner to executive management on people, structure, and performance matters
Performance Management & KPI Setting
- Design, implement, and manage company-wide KPI frameworks for all departments
- Ensure clear performance targets, appraisal systems, and measurable outcomes
- Monitor, evaluate, and report performance metrics regularly to management
Recruitment & Talent Management
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for management, sales, operations, and factory roles
- Develop talent pipelines and succession planning strategies
- Ensure onboarding processes drive early productivity and retention
Employee Relations & Discipline
- Establish HR policies and ensure compliance with Nigerian labor laws
- Manage disciplinary cases and employee relations matters
Performance Metrics
- Departmental KPI implementation rate
- Employee performance appraisal completion and quality
- Staff turnover and retention rate
- Recruitment turnaround time
- Compliance and disciplinary case resolution rate
- Training effectiveness and performance improvement outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Professional certification (CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, or equivalent) is mandatory
- Minimum of 7–10 years HR experience, with at least 3 years in a senior HR leadership role
- Proven experience in KPI design, performance management systems, and HR analytics
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or MBA
- Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or sales-driven organizations
