## Title: Head of Human Resources

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Head of Human Resources to join our organization. You will serve as a strategic partner to executive management on people, structure, and performance matters, driving HR excellence across the company.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Leadership

  • Develop and implement HR strategies that support business growth and operational efficiency
  • Serve as a strategic partner to executive management on people, structure, and performance matters

Performance Management & KPI Setting

  • Design, implement, and manage company-wide KPI frameworks for all departments
  • Ensure clear performance targets, appraisal systems, and measurable outcomes
  • Monitor, evaluate, and report performance metrics regularly to management

Recruitment & Talent Management

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for management, sales, operations, and factory roles
  • Develop talent pipelines and succession planning strategies
  • Ensure onboarding processes drive early productivity and retention

Employee Relations & Discipline

  • Establish HR policies and ensure compliance with Nigerian labor laws
  • Manage disciplinary cases and employee relations matters

Performance Metrics

  • Departmental KPI implementation rate
  • Employee performance appraisal completion and quality
  • Staff turnover and retention rate
  • Recruitment turnaround time
  • Compliance and disciplinary case resolution rate
  • Training effectiveness and performance improvement outcomes

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Professional certification (CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, or equivalent) is mandatory
  • Minimum of 7–10 years HR experience, with at least 3 years in a senior HR leadership role
  • Proven experience in KPI design, performance management systems, and HR analytics
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or MBA
  • Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or sales-driven organizations
