Position Overview
The Gym Manager oversees the daily operations of the fitness facility, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and motivating environment for all members and staff. This role involves managing staff performance, driving membership sales, maintaining facility standards, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily gym operations, including opening/closing, scheduling, and maintenance
- Ensure all equipment and facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained
- Implement and enforce health, safety, and cleanliness standards in compliance with regulations
- Manage vendor relationships and inventory for supplies and equipment
- Recruit, train, and supervise gym staff, including trainers, receptionists, and maintenance personnel
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback
- Foster a positive, high-energy team culture aligned with the gym's mission and values
- Drive membership growth through marketing campaigns, referrals, and community outreach
- Ensure a high standard of customer service and handle member inquiries or complaints professionally
- Track and report on membership metrics, retention rates, and revenue performance
- Develop and execute programs and events to increase member engagement and satisfaction
- Manage budgets, control expenses, and monitor financial performance
- Prepare regular operational and financial reports for senior management
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue and improve profitability
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Sports Management, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in fitness center management or a related leadership role
- Proven experience in staff management, customer service, and sales
- Strong organizational and communication skills
