GBV Case Workers (Consultants) at ActionAid Nigeria

Position Overview

This position offers an excellent opportunity for career growth in gender-based violence support services. The post holder will provide direct support, including GBV case management and psychosocial support services, to at-risk women and girls and survivors of gender-based violence.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver GBV case management services to at-risk women and girls
• Provide psychosocial support to survivors of gender-based violence
• Maintain and manage case files and databases with regular documentation
• Support community mobilization and behavior change communication initiatives
• Build capacity and mentor staff members

Required Qualifications

• First degree in Social Sciences, Arts, Health, or related fields
• At least two (2) years' experience implementing child protection or gender-based violence programs in humanitarian or development settings
• Proven experience in GBV case management
• Experience working with case files and databases with regular documentation

• Experience in emergency preparedness and response

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience working in an International Development organization
