## Title: Fleet Officer

Monitor driver journeys using online real-time tracking tools to ensure compliance with safety and operational guidelines
Plan and manage all journeys in line with company policies
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip journey briefings and debriefings with drivers, including route definition, turn-around time identification, hazard assessment, and driver sign-off
Ensure tracking devices installed in all vehicles are functioning properly
Review, record, and monitor truck mileage per trip using driver log books and online tracking tools; escalate observed exceptions
Monitor driver journeys for compliance with the journey plan
Obtain and collate all necessary journey-related documentation from drivers
Escalate exceptions, including deviations from the journey plan, safety violations, and tracking system failures to management
Capture and enter source data into the ERP system
Liaise with the Head of the Safety Department on actions for safety infringements and related issues
Prepare and render all relevant daily reports, including logistics reports, violation reports, and GPS tracking reports to management
Participate in house-keeping exercises
Actively participate in Health, Safety, and Environment meetings
Report all incidents, accidents, risks, and opportunities in the work environment using appropriate organizational channels
Perform other duties as assigned by line management

B.Sc. Degree or HND in any academic discipline with a minimum of second-class lower division
2 years' experience in logistics and supply chain
Proficient computer skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent analytical skills
