An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional. Role Summary
  • The Facility Officer is responsible for the recruitment, supervision, and performance management of custodians across client locations, ensuring effective delivery of facility services and administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities: Custodian Recruitment & Workforce Management:
  • Recruit, onboard, deploy, and manage custodial staff across assigned locations.
  • Prepare duty rosters, manage attendance, leave, and replacements.
  • Supervise custodians to ensure adherence to service standards, hygiene, and safety protocols.
  • Handle minor disciplinary issues and escalate serious cases appropriately.
Site Inspection & Service Quality Control:
  • Conduct routine and ad-hoc site inspections across all assigned locations.
  • Identify gaps in service delivery and implement corrective actions promptly.
  • Ensure facilities meet agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and client expectations.
  • Prepare inspection reports and submit findings with recommendations.
Facility Services (4Ps) Coordination
  • Oversee delivery of integrated facility services including:
  • Cleaning and janitorial services
  • Pest control services
  • Landscaping and basic premises maintenance
  • Coordinate third-party vendors and monitor their performance on-site.
Client & Stakeholder Management:
  • Serve as the first point of contact for clients on facility-related matters.
  • Resolve site issues professionally and within agreed timelines.
  • Maintain cordial relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
Operations, Reporting & Compliance:
  • Track consumables, cleaning tools, and basic facility supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE standards and company policies.
  • Submit weekly and monthly operational reports on staffing, inspections, and issues.
Requirements: & Qualifications
  • HND / Bachelor’s Degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3–4 years’ experience in facility management, cleaning services, or custodial supervision.
  • Experience managing multi-site operations is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of cleaning operations, basic maintenance, and vendor management.
  • Strong supervision, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across sites within Lagos.
  • Basic reporting and documentation skills.
